It is important to us at Woodcraft Design to have as little negative impact on the environment as possible when producing our furniture. The following are some practices we use to reduce our impact:
- In order to reduce the amount of waste, all of our wood is carefully selected for each order.
- Any offcuts are kept and reused in future orders whenever possible.
- The hardwoods we use come from responsibly managed sources in North America and around the world that do not use clearcutting practices.
- Our finishes are better for the environment as they are free of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
